R.O.O.T.S. Year-End Impact Report:

As we reflect on the past year, we are incredibly proud to share the remarkable impact R.O.O.T.S. has made in our community. Our mission to foster the growth and development of youth through mentoring, education, and community involvement has been at the heart of everything we do.

Here’s a snapshot of our collective achievements:

  • Youths Served: 500+

  • Adults Served: 200+

  • College Mentors: 75

  • Schools Partnered: 11

  • Recreation Centers Partnered: 4

  • Scholarships Awarded: $10,000

  • $5,000 for college mentors

  • $5,000 for student mentees

These impressive numbers reflect the dedication, passion, and hard work of our entire R.O.O.T.S. family, our mentors, mentees, volunteers, supporters, and community partners. Each interaction, workshop, and event has contributed to the personal growth and empowerment of the individuals we serve.

Youths Served: This year, over 500 young individuals have participated in our programs, gaining valuable skills, confidence, and a sense of purpose. Through mentoring, educational workshops, and community service projects, we have seen firsthand the transformation and growth in our youth. They are not just the future; they are the present, making significant strides in their personal and academic lives.

Adults Served: We also reached over 200 adults, including parents, guardians, and community members, providing them with the resources and support needed to foster a nurturing environment for our youth. By engaging with the broader community, we create a network of support that extends beyond our immediate programs.

College Mentors: Our 75 dedicated college mentors have been instrumental in guiding and inspiring our youth. These mentors bring their experiences, knowledge, and enthusiasm to our programs, serving as role models and leaders. Their commitment not only helps our mentees but also enriches their own personal and professional development.

Schools and Recreation Centers Partnered: Our collaboration with 11 schools and 4 recreation centers has been crucial in expanding our reach and impact. These partnerships allow us to integrate our programs into the fabric of the community, ensuring that we can provide consistent and comprehensive support to our youth.

Scholarships Awarded: We are thrilled to have awarded $10,000 in scholarships this year. This includes $5,000 for college mentors who have shown exceptional dedication and leadership, and $5,000 for student mentees who have demonstrated outstanding academic and personal achievements. These scholarships are an investment in the future leaders of our community, helping to alleviate financial barriers and support their educational pursuits.

Collective Efforts: These achievements are a testament to our collective efforts and the unwavering commitment of our community. Mentors, mentees, volunteers, and supporters – together, we are making a difference. Every mentoring session, every workshop, and every event is a step towards shaping a brighter future for our youth.
