WHAT IS ROOTS MENTORING?
ROOTS Mentoring is comprised of a dedicated group of community leaders, college students, and parents who service "at-promise" youth in Fayetteville, NC and surrounding areas. Our objective is to raise the consciousness of the youth we serve through teaching accountability, effective communication skills, & code switching.
COLLEGE DIVISION
College students from Fayetteville State University and Methodist University serve as mentors to our youth. These mentors are able to relate to, positively influence, and provide guidance to their mentees, while emphasizing the fact that if they were able to succeed, then our youth can too.
